December 15, 2017: Escalante, UT 84726 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Milford Tigers (Milford, UT) and the host Escalante Moquis (Escalante, UT), saw Milford's basketball squad overcome Escalante by a tally of 62-43.
With the victory, Milford improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Tigers host Wayne (Bicknell, UT) to play the Badgers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Badgers come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Wayne won 64-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Bryce Valley (Tropic, UT)
Next up, the Moquis play the Water Canyon Wildcats (Hildale, UT) in a 1A Region 20 challenge, on Thursday, December 21. Escalante will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 77-45 non-league win over El Capitan (Colorado City, AZ).
