Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO), 60-51 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Palmer Ridge improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Legend (Parker, CO) to battle the Titans in a 4A/3A Pioneer challenge on Wednesday, February 17. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Legend won 70-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Wasson (Colorado Springs, CO)

Next up, the Thunder battle the Irwin Jaguars (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 18. Discovery Canyon will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 74-48 league loss to Huerta Prep (Pueblo, CO).
