The Roosevelt Mustangs basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Torrance Tartars to 68 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santiago for a Big 8 contest on Tuesday, January 6. Roosevelt will meet a Sharks team coming off a 88-59 non-league win over Arbor View (Las Vegas, NV). The Sharks record now stands at 11-2.

Next up, the Tartars play the Redondo Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 7. Torrance will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Sea Hawks come into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 69-52 non-league loss to Cathedral (Los Angeles, CA).
