October 7, 2011: Tunnel Hill, GA 30755 The Rome Wolves (Rome, GA) football nudged the host Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA), 14-13 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Wolves face the South Forsyth War Eagles (Cumming, GA) in a AAAA Region 7 bout, on Friday, October 14. Rome will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The War Eagles enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 28-23 league loss to Creekview (Canton, GA).
The Bruins (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against Forsyth Central (Cumming, GA). The Bulldogs enter the AAAA Region 7 bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Forsyth Central held off Cass (Cartersville, GA), 28-0, in a league bout.
