January 20, 2009: Tampa, FL 33615 The Berkeley Prep Buccaneers soccer team scored 4 points and limited the visiting St. Stephen's Episcopal Falcons to 1 in the Buccaneers non-league win on Tuesday.
Next, the Buccaneers confront the Jenkins Eagles (Lakeland, FL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 22. Berkeley Prep will attempt to move on its 20-1 season record.
The Falcons now have a 4-2 record.
First Half
The Bucs won with a score of 4-1 and moved to 20-1-2 for the season after coming back from a one goal deficit just before the half. Joey Rosati's single handed effort got the Bucs on the board with an electrifying goal. Rosati split two defenders and went one on one with the keeper, shooting high to beat the Falcons' keeper.
Second Half
The Bucs came out in the second and controlled the tempo and possession scoring 3 more times. JD Post, Eri Jacobs, and an own goal from the Falcon's defense, created by TJ Roehn helping push the Bucs past the Falcons.
