Ohio High School Basketball - Maumee tops Liberty Center
January 2, 2018: Maumee, OH 43537 Maumee Panthers (Maumee, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Liberty Center Tigers (Liberty Center, OH), 49-41 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Maumee upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Southview (Sylvania, OH) to play the Cougars in a Northern Lakes bout on Thursday, January 11. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Southview won 57-40 in their recent non-league bout against Findlay (Findlay, OH)
Next up, the Tigers play the Bryan Golden Bears (Bryan, OH) in a Northwest Ohio bout, on Friday, January 5. Liberty Center will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Golden Bears come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 54-40 non-league win over Fairview (Sherwood, OH).
