California High School Volleyball - Palo Alto over Mountain View

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA) and the host Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA), saw Palo Alto's volleyball squad beat Mountain View by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Palo Alto upgrades its record to 15-2 on the year. The Vikings host St. Francis (Mountain View, CA) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Monday, September 26. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 11-2. St. Francis won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA)

The Spartans now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Los Gatos for a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza bout on Tuesday, September 27. Mountain View will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Gunn (Palo Alto, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-3.
