The Parkland Matadors topped the host Riverside Rangers basketball team by a final score of 72-59 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Matadors face the Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX) in a 4A Region I District 2 game, on Tuesday, February 9. Parkland will attempt to move on its 17-8 season record. The Scorpions enter the game with a 13-12 record after their 58-35 league win over Del Valle (El Paso, TX).
