The Penquis Valley Patriots basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Dexter Tigers to 38 in the Patriots league triumph on Monday.

The Patriots now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schenck for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 31. Penquis Valley will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 43-42 non-league win over Orono (Orono, ME). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-9.

The Tigers (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Stearns (Millinocket, ME). The Minutemen enter the C East contest with a 4-9 record.
