In what can be described only as a great high school baseball game, the Frederick Cadets bested the Linganore Lancers by a 2-1 score. Brian Smith pitched a complete game 3 hitter, striking out 8 and walking only 1. David Motok had 2 hits for the winners including a triple while Drew Cline and Matt Wilson had doubles with Wilson driving in the winning run. Frederick is now 3-3 overall and 3-1 in the conference.
