Illinois High School Basketball - Calvary fells Tri-City

Calvary Saints (Springfield, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Tri-City Tornadoes (Buffalo, IL), 49-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Calvary upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Saints travel to South Fork (Kincaid, IL) to play the Ponies in a non-league bout on Friday, January 9. The Ponies come into the bout with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Tornadoes play the Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 19. Tri-City will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 40-32 non-league loss to New Berlin (New Berlin, IL).
