The Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Bland-Rocky Gap Bears (Bland, VA), 52-37 in Monday's league test.

The Maroon Tide (19-3) will now prepare for their test against Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Maroons go into the Mountain Empire test with a 13-8 record. In their last test, Wythe notched a victory over Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA), 58-42, in a league test.

The Bears now own a 10-12 record.
