North Carolina High School Football - Northeastern smashes Hertford County

October 5, 2018: Ahoskie, NC 27910

The Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) football routed the host Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC), 53-13 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A bout, on Friday, October 12. Northeastern will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 21-0 league win over Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC).

The Bears (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC). The Nighthawks enter the Northeastern Coastal 2A bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, First Flight was crushed by Bertie (Windsor, NC), 24-20, in a league bout.
