In Tuesday's league outing, the Dawson School Mustangs (Lafayette, CO) basketball squad felled the visiting Gilpin County (Black Hawk, CO), by a margin of 56-39.

The Mustangs (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Union Colony Prep (Greeley, CO). The Timberwolves go into the 2A/1A Mile High outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, Union Colony Prep thwarted Lyons (Lyons, CO), 56-47, in a league outing.
