The Fairfield Knights football team (Fairfield, PA), was tipped 27-21 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Hanover Nighthawks (Hanover, PA)

The Nighthawks (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Littlestown (Littlestown, PA). The Thunderbolts come into the York-Adams 3 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Littlestown nipped York County Tech (York, PA), 62-0, in a league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host York Catholic for a York-Adams 3 challenge on Friday, October 5. Fairfield will meet a Fighting Irish team coming off a 10-7 league win over Bermudian Springs (York Springs, PA). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 6-0.
