In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Anniston Bulldogs (Anniston, AL) basketball squad edged the visiting Parker Thundering Herd (Birmingham, AL), by a margin of 32-30.

The Bulldogs (10-7) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln (Lincoln, AL). The Golden Bears enter the 5A Area 12 match with a 11-4 record. In their last match, Lincoln nudged St. Clair County (Odenville, AL), 75-52, in a league match.

With the defeat, Parker moves to 12-6 on the year. The Thundering herd host Jackson-Olin (Birmingham, AL) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Thursday, January 15.
