The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Fishburne Military Caissons (Waynesboro, VA), 58-55 in Tuesday's league test.

The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA). The Tigers go into the VISAA Division 2 test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Hargrave Military Academy was tipped by Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA), 67-55, in a non-league test.

The Caissons now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Massanutten Military Academy for a non-league test on Friday, December 12. Fishburne Military will encounter a Colonels squad coming off a 52-46 non-league win over Wakefield Country Day (Flint Hill, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 2-1.
