In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Georgetown Eagles basketball team scored a decisive 66-23 triumph over the Leander Lions.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Round Rock Dragons (Round Rock, TX) in a 5A Region II District 16 match, on Friday, January 28. Georgetown will attempt to better on its 24-3 season record. The Dragons enter the match with a 15-10 record after their 53-52 league loss to McNeil (Austin, TX).
