The Saguaro Sabercats basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Apache Junction Prospectors to 48 in the Sabercats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Sabercats now sport a 12-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host McClintock for a 4A Desert Sky contest on Thursday, February 12. Saguaro will meet a Chargers team coming off a 75-65 league loss to Shadow Mountain (Phoenix, AZ). The Chargers record now stands at 17-9.

The Prospectors (3-22) will now prepare for their contest against Chaparral (Scottsdale, AZ). The Firebirds enter the 4A Desert Sky contest with a 19-7 record. In their last contest, Chaparral ran past Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ), 71-63, in a league contest.
