Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Alief Elsik Rams (Houston, TX), 56-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Bend Elkins upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Knights host La Porte (La Porte, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-7. La Porte lost 69-68 in their recent non-league challenge against North Forest (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Rams battle the North Shore Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 14. Alief Elsik will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 43-40 non-league loss to Kingwood (Kingwood, TX).
