In Friday's league match, the visiting Maple Grove Crimson football squad scored a close 19-12 victory over the Park Center Pirates.

In their next game, the Crimson clash with the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons (Plymouth, MN) in a Northwest Suburban match, on Friday, October 1.
