Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Neshannock nips Ursuline
December 29, 2017: New Castle, PA 16105 Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Ursuline Fighting Irish (Youngstown, OH), 50-49 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Neshannock upgrades its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Lancers host Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Rockets come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Slippery Rock won 61-44 in their recent non-league bout against Farrell (Farrell, PA)
Next up, the Fighting Irish play the Farrell Steelers (Farrell, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Ursuline will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Steelers come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 61-44 non-league loss to Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA).
