The Waxahachie Indians basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Lancaster Tigers to 44 in the Indians league triumph on Wednesday.

The Indians now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Ridge for a 5A Region II District 10 contest on Friday, January 19. Waxahachie will battle a Eagles team coming off a 60-39 league loss to Mansfield Timberview (Arlington, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-14.

The Tigers (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Midlothian (Midlothian, TX). The Panthers enter the 5A Region II District 10 contest with a 15-8 record.
