The Monroe Central Golden Bears basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Randolph Southern Rebels to 39 in the Golden Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Golden Bears now sport a 17-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union for a Mid-Eastern contest on Friday, January 12.

The Rebels (14-4) will now prepare for their contest against Blue River Valley (Mt. Summit, IN). The Vikings enter the Mid-Eastern contest with a 10-7 record.
