October 11, 2008: Parkland, FL 33076 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Episcopal Eagles (Jacksonville, FL) and the host Douglas Eagles (Parkland, FL), saw Episcopal's volleyball squad nip Douglas by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Episcopal upgrades its record to 13-6 on the year. The Eagles travel to University Christian (Jacksonville, FL) to play the Christians in a non-league bout on Monday, October 13. The Christians go into the bout with a record of 1-12.
The Eagles now own a 13-8 record. They play next when they host Plantation for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 14. Douglas will play a Colonels squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Anderson (Lauderdale Lakes, FL). The Colonels record now stands at 4-9.
