Texas High School Basketball - Nimitz tipped by Spring

In Tuesday's league match, the host Spring Lions basketball team scored a tight 65-63 triumph over the Nimitz Cougars.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Westfield Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 match, on Friday, February 10. Spring will attempt to better on its 10-17 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 25-7 record after their 75-56 league win over Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX).

With the defeat, Nimitz moves to 14-12 on the year. The Cougars travel to Dekaney (Houston, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a 6A Region II District 16 match on Friday, February 10. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 23-6. Dekaney won 76-34 in their recent league match against MacArthur (Houston, TX)
