The Franklin Cougars basketball team (El Paso, TX), dropped 58-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX)

The Trail Blazers now sport a 29-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coronado for a 6A Region I District 1 battle on Friday, February 10. Americas will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 61-46 league win over Socorro (El Paso, TX). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 19-8.

The Cougars (2-20) will now prepare for their battle against Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX). The Spartans come into the 6A Region I District 1 battle with a 16-12 record. In their last battle, Pebble Hills dropped by El Dorado (El Paso, TX), 58-43, in a league battle.
