In Friday's league contest, the East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) softball team the host South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC), by a margin of 8-5.

With the triumph, East Gaston moves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Warriors host Huss (Gastonia, NC) to play the Huskies in a non-league contest on Monday, March 26.
