September 11, 2018: Littleton, CO 80127 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Dakota Ridge Eagles (Littleton, CO) and the visiting Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO), witnessed Dakota Ridge's softball squad tip Smoky Hill by a count of 4-3.
The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Green Mountain for a non-league match on Thursday, September 13.
With the loss, Smoky Hill moves to 1-4 on the season. The Buffaloes host Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO) to meet the Cougar in a non-league match on Thursday, September 20. The Cougar go into the match with a record of 5-3. Cherokee Trail won 24-3 in their recent non-league match against Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO)
