In Saturday's non-league outing, the Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA) basketball squad beat the host Palos Verdes Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), by a count of 50-35.

The Pumas (10-0) will now prepare for their outing against St. Mary's (Stockton, CA). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 5-3 record.

The Panthers now hold a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Tahoe for a non-league outing on Monday, December 28.
