Pennsylvania High School Basketball - White Plains bounced by Williamsport
January 28, 2012: Williamsport, PA 17701 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Williamsport Millionaires (Williamsport, PA) and the visiting White Plains Tigers (White Plains, NY), saw Williamsport's basketball squad trounce White Plains by a score of 69-45.
With the victory, Williamsport improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Millionaires travel to Jersey Shore (Jersey Shore, PA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 30. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-9.
Next up, the Tigers play the Mt. Vernon Knights (Mt. Vernon, NY) in a Section 1 Conference 2 - B challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. White Plains will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 82-72 non-league win over Roman Catholic (Philadelphia, PA).
