Ryle Raiders (Union, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Cooper (Burlington, KY), 43-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Ryle upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Raiders travel to Boone County (Florence, KY) to encounter the Rebels in a District 33 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 17-5. Boone County won 45-38 in their recent league bout against Conner (Hebron, KY)

Next up, the encounter the Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Cooper will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 53-51 non-league loss to Clay (Lexington, KY).
