The Minden Whippets (Minden, NE) basketball felled the visiting Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE), 55-35 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Whippets (17-1) will now prepare for their test against Broken Bow (Broken Bow, NE). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Broken Bow defeated Cozad (Cozad, NE), 49-29, in a non-league test.

The Dragons now own a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Skutt Catholic for a B District 2 test on Tuesday, February 14. Gretna will clash with a SkyHawks squad coming off a 68-55 non-league loss to Pius X (Lincoln, NE). The SkyHawks record now stands at 12-8.
