The Boyertown Bears basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Phoenixville Phantoms to 56 in the Bears league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parkland for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Boyertown will confront a Trojans team coming off a 51-39 league win over Louis E. Dieruff (Allentown, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-1.

The Phantoms (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against East (West Chester, PA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, East lost by Coatesville (Coatesville, PA), 63-46, in a league contest.
