Kansas High School Basketball - Olpe nips Sedgwick
February 17, 2012: Sedgwick, KS 67135 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Olpe Eagles (Olpe, KS) and the host Sedgwick Cardinals (Sedgwick, KS), saw Olpe's basketball squad hold off Sedgwick by a score of 49-43.
With the victory, Olpe improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Chase County (Cottonwood Falls, KS) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-12. Chase County lost 57-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Centre (Lost Springs, KS)
Next up, the Cardinals battle the Marion Warriors (Marion, KS) in a Heart of America challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. Sedgwick will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 41-36 league win over Bennington (Bennington, KS).
