New York High School Basketball - Kingston topples Jamestown
December 29, 2011: Kingston, NY 12401 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY) basketball squad beat the visiting Jamestown Red Raiders (Jamestown, NY), by a count of 67-51.
The Tigers (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Minisink Valley was knocked off by Red Hook (Red Hook, NY), 65-57, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Red Raiders encounter the Williamsville North Spartans (Williamsville, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County I bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Jamestown will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 62-58 non-league loss to Williamsville South (Williamsville, NY).
