The Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC) basketball felled the visiting West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC), 65-53 in Tuesday's league test.

The Red Devils (13-8) will now prepare for their test against Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Golden Tornadoes go into the Three Rivers 1A/2A test with a 17-0 record. In their last test, Fairmont thwarted Lumberton (Lumberton, NC), 62-55, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Whiteville for a Three Rivers 1A/2A test on Wednesday, February 3. West Columbus will meet a Wolfpack team coming off a 51-45 league win over St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 10-4.
