In Monday's non-league challenge, the Bennington Badgers (Bennington, NE) baseball squad the visiting Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE), by a margin of 7-5.

With the win, Bennington betters its record to 3-0 on the season. The Badgers host Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE) to encounter the Chieftains in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 28. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Bellevue East lost 12-8 in their recent league bout against Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE)

Next, the Trojans face the Ralston Rams (Ralston, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 26. Platteview will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 14-3 non-league win over Branched Oak [Raymond Central/Malcolm (Raymond, NE).
