California High School Basketball - Southwest EC crushes Hilltop

Southwest EC Eagles (El Centro, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA), 72-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southwest EC upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Oceanside (Oceanside, CA) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Oceanside lost 69-67 in their recent non-league bout against Madison (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Lancers play the West Hills Wolf Pack (Santee, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Hilltop will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Wolf Pack go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 84-56 non-league win over Victory Christian Academy (Chula Vista, CA).
