Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC), saw Independence's basketball squad overcome Rocky River by a tally of 90-73.

With the victory, Independence improves its record to 22-1 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Mustangs in a Southwestern 4A challenge on Friday, February 9. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 15-8. Myers Park won 51-48 in their recent league challenge against Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC)

Next up, the Ravens confront the Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a Southwestern 4A challenge, on Friday, February 9. Rocky River will attempt to improve on its 17-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-19 record after their 62-51 league loss to David W. Butler (Matthews, NC).
