In Friday's league match, the visiting Ashland Blue Devils basketball team scored a decisive 72-44 triumph over the West Union Eagles.

In their next game, the Blue Devils meet the Falkner Eagles (Falkner, MS) in a 1A Region 2 match, on Tuesday, February 6. Ashland will attempt to better on its 16-10 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 3-20 record after their 64-47 non-league loss to Walnut (Walnut, MS).
