Texas High School Basketball - Ray overwhelms Calallen
January 19, 2018: Corpus Christi, TX 78411 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Ray Texans (Corpus Christi, TX) and the visiting Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX), saw Ray's basketball squad wallop Calallen by a tally of 67-36.
With the victory, Ray improves its record to 19-9 on the campaign. The Texans host Alice (Alice, TX) to confront the Coyotes in a 5A Region IV District 30 challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Alice lost 62-57 in their recent league challenge against Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Gregory-Portland Wildcats (Portland, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 30 challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Calallen will attempt to improve on its 8-17 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 42-34 league win over Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX).
