Lakewood Tigers (Lakewood, CO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Ralston Valley Mustangs (Arvada, CO), 59-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lakewood upgrades its record to 2-6 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Chatfield (Littleton, CO) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 3-6. Chatfield lost 60-52 in their recent league bout against Pomona (Arvada, CO)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Bear Creek Bears (Lakewood, CO) in a 5A Jeffco bout, on Saturday, January 6. Ralston Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 50-46 league win over Arvada West (Arvada, CO).
