Arizona High School Basketball - Sahuaro thwarts Palo Verde

The Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ) basketball felled the visiting Palo Verde Titans (Tucson, AZ), 75-63 in Thursday's league test.

The Cougars (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ). The Falcons go into the II Section I test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Catalina Foothills defeated Catalina (Tucson, AZ), 73-58, in a league test.

The Titans now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pueblo for a II Section I test on Friday, December 7. Palo Verde will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 69-22 league win over Sahuarita (Sahuarita, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 1-7.
