In Friday's league outing, the Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ) basketball squad edged the visiting Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ), by a margin of 68-64.

The Eagles (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Cactus (Glendale, AZ). The Cobras go into the non-league outing with a 3-12 record. In their last outing, Cactus was tipped by Moon Valley (Phoenix, AZ), 63-57, in a league outing.
