The Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Clayton Valley Eagles (Concord, CA), 57-50 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Knights (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Miramonte (Orinda, CA). The Matadors go into the Diablo Foothill test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Miramonte got by Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA), 66-37, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 3-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northgate for a Diablo Valley test on Tuesday, January 8. Clayton Valley will clash with a Broncos squad coming off a 66-37 non-league loss to Miramonte (Orinda, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 3-9.
