Maryland High School Volleyball - Academy of the Holy Cross crushed by Our Lady of Good Counsel

October 14, 2011: Olney, MD 20853

The Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons topped the visiting Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's league test.

The Falcons now have a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop O'Connell for a Washington Catholic test on Monday, October 17. Our Lady of Good Counsel will confront a Knights team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA). The Knights record now stands at 10-9.

The Tartans (17-5) will now prepare for their test against Paul VI (Fairfax, VA). The Panthers enter the Washington Catholic test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Paul VI was knocked off by Maryland School for the Deaf (Frederick, MD), 3-0, in a non-league test.
