October 13, 2011: Lexington, SC 29072 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Lexington Wildcats (Lexington, SC) and the visiting Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins (Orangeburg, SC), saw Lexington's volleyball squad beat Orangeburg-Wilkinson by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Lexington upgrades its record to 13-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Goose Creek (Goose Creek, SC) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Friday, October 14. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 24-8. Goose Creek won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Stall (Charleston, SC)
The Bruins now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Branchville for a non-league bout on Monday, October 17. Orangeburg-Wilkinson will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Ridgeland (Ridgeland, SC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 20-5.
