Indiana High School Basketball - Tipton tops Lapel

December 8, 2018: Lapel, IN 46051

Tipton Blue Devils (Tipton, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lapel Bulldogs (Lapel, IN), 52-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tipton upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Northfield (Wabash, IN) to play the Norseman in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 12. The Norseman come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Northfield won 77-19 in their recent league bout against Southwood (Wabash, IN)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Eastern Hancock Royals (Charlottesville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 11. Lapel will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Royals come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 72-16 league win over Wes-Del (Gaston, IN).
