The Steele Comets football team (Amherst, OH), was beaten 27-2 in Friday's league challenge with the host Olmsted Falls Bulldogs (Olmsted Falls, OH)

The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH). The Titans come into the Southwestern challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Berea-Midpark achieved victory over Midview (Grafton, OH), 52-16, in a league challenge.

The Comets now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Avon Lake for a Southwestern challenge on Friday, October 5. Steele will meet a Shoremen team coming off a 35-21 league win over North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH). The Shoremen record now stands at 6-0.
